FLY FISHING – Experience the natural wonders of the Rockies in a pair of waders with a rod in hand through The Broadmoor’s exhilarating fly fishing excursions. Perfect for intimate groups, executive outings, and individuals of all skill levels, our Colorado Springs resort offers a variety of instructional experiences as well as guided fly fishing trips that offer a fantastic opportunity to catch that once-in-a-lifetime trophy fish.

SOARING ZIP LINE ADVENTURE – Try one of two courses – The relaxed Woods Course or the exhilarating Fins Course that combines 5 zip lines with 2 suspension bridges and a 180-foot rappel into the Seven Falls canyon.

FALCONRY – The Broadmoor Falconry program offers guests the rare opportunity to experience the 4,000-year-old sport of falconry.  During this experience, you will interact with a variety of captive-bred, trained birds, including owls, falcons, and other birds of prey while learning about the fascinating history of this sport. After learning the appropriate techniques from our professional guides, a trained hawk will be placed on your gloved first.

HIKING – Guided hikes available.  Experience the beauty of Garden of the Gods, the serenity of Cheyenne Cañon or push yourself to the physical limits as you summit Pikes Peak or another one of Colorado’s 14ers. The hikes vary daily so check in with Broadmoor Outfitters for the schedule.

ROCK CLIMBING –  Experience the unique thrill of Colorado rock climbing with challenging yet rewarding excursions. Options are provided for guests with little to no climbing experience as well as expeditions for more seasoned climbers.  Includes professional instruction and all the equipment needed for a safe and enjoyable experience.

MOUNTAIN BIKING – Bike rentals and guided bike rides available.

WILD WEST EXPERIENCE – Test your accuracy with archery, pellet guns, and tomahawk throwing while enjoying the scenery at our hidden property surrounded by the outdoors, accompanied by the sound of a flowing stream. Our staff will teach the fundamentals of each activity and test your skills with challenging games allowing for friendly competition.  Minimum age 8 years old.  Event is offered daily with prior reservation.


LOCAL ACTIVITIES

SEVEN FALLS Immerse yourself in Colorado’s famous natural beauty at Seven Falls.  Crystal clear water from the Pikes Peak watershed has shaped a spectacular natural box canyon: the steep-walled, enclosed canyon that’s become symbolic of the American West.  Entrance fees to Seven Falls can be found HERE.  Inside Seven Falls, you’ll find a few gift shops as well as dining at Restaurant 1858.   It’s located five minutes from The Broadmoor and accessible via the resort shuttle included in your package cost.  Additionally, a new 2,500-foot-long, natural-surface walking trail connects The Broadmoor directly to Seven Falls.

OLYMPIC TRAINING CENTER The flagship Olympic Training Center is located in Colorado Springs, about 20 minutes away from The Broadmoor.  Guided tours of the OTC facilities are available throughout the year.  Each tour begins with a video presentation, followed by a walking tour of the complex. GARDEN OF THE GODS The Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center is the most visited attraction in the Pikes Peak region, offering FREE admission, iconic views, new interactive museum exhibits, world-class shopping, and the fun and exciting Geo-Trekker Theater movie experience.  Located in Colorado Springs, about 20 minutes from the Broadmoor.

PIKES PEAK COG RAILWAY In operation since June 30th, 1891, The Broadmoor Pikes Peak Cog Railway is a one-of-a-kind Colorado adventure that transports you to the 14,115-foot-high summit of Pikes Peak from a safe, comfortable seat on the world’s highest elevation cog train.  This tour takes approx. 4 hours total.  The train experience itself is 3 hours, 10 minutes.  Located in Manitou Springs, about 20 minutes from The Broadmoor.  Tour can be booked through The Broadmoor, however, the 10% NECA discount DOES NOT apply.

CAVE OF THE WINDS MOUNTAIN PARK Located 20 minutes from The Broadmoor, this adventure park offers explorative cave tours as well as heart-pounding attractions.

ROYAL GORGE BRIDGE & PARK – One of the world’s highest suspension bridges with 360° of jaw-dropping attractions.  Located in Cañon City, 1-hour from Colorado Springs.

ROYAL GORGE ROUTE RAILROAD  Experience America’s most spectacular rail journey aboard the Royal Gorge Route Railroad. Come experience not just a memorable train ride through the Colorado Rockies, but enjoy classes of service where we combine gorgeous scenery, great service, with delicious food, sourced locally and prepared fresh right on board the train for breakfast, lunch and dinner. First Class Dinner & Murder Mystery Trains available every Saturday. Located in Cañon City, 1-hour from Colorado Springs.
